In short
1Namecard is a lead capture tool that each exhibitor runs in its own organisation, so an organiser can recommend it without handling any exhibitor data. Exhibitors on the free Starter plan get every feature with 3 cards, 10 short links and 3 users. Your registration, badges and scanners stay as they are, because 1Namecard does not read badges.

What it does for you.
Sound familiar?
- Caution: Your exhibitors ask what they can use to capture leads at the stand.
- Caution: Your own scanner reads badges, but much of what happens on a stand is a conversation, a leaflet or a banner that no scan records.
- Caution: You would like to help, but you do not want to hold exhibitors' leads, answer for their consent wording or run another system for them.
What changes for you.
Something you can name in the exhibitor manual.
Starter is free and has every feature, so an exhibitor can try it before the show. Sign-up takes about 2 minutes. You can point to the exhibitor page and the stand checklist.
Each exhibitor owns its organisation.
Cards, leads, consent wording and integrations belong to the exhibitor's own organisation. You do not receive them and you do not hold them. Each organisation's data is kept apart from every other.
It sits beside your scanner.
Badge scanning stays with you and 1Namecard does not read badges. Visitors scan an exhibitor's QR code with their own phone to save a contact, send details with consent or book a slot. It covers the conversations the scanner misses.
Cards that say where to find them.
An exhibitor adds the event to its account with the name, venue, stand, days, opening hours and time zone. The card then shows a "Now at" block with those details, and visitors can book a stand slot on the days the rep is there.
Stored and processed in the EU.
Customer and lead data is stored and processed in Frankfurt, Germany. A data processing addendum is part of the terms, which your exhibitors' data protection officers may ask to read. See the security page for what is true today.
Your own team can use it too.
Your sales team can run its own organisation, with a card for each person selling stands. It is a separate organisation from any exhibitor's.

From exhibitor manual to show floor.
- Step 1.
Eight weeks before, the manual.
Your exhibitor manual lists 1Namecard as one option for capturing leads, next to your own scanner. Nothing is integrated and nothing is shared with you.
- Step 2.
Six weeks before, an exhibitor signs up.
The marketing manager creates a free organisation, adds three reps and sets the event: its name, stand number, days and hours.
- Step 3.
Show days, the stand.
Visitors scan the QR code on the badge, the banner and the leaflet. Each one is its own link, so the exhibitor sees which brought people. Your scanner works in the same hall as usual.
- Step 4.
After the show, the exhibitor.
The exhibitor prints its own funnel report and exports its leads as CSV. It sends follow-up only to visitors who ticked the consent box.
- Step 5.
After the show, you.
You have nothing to collect and nothing to delete. Your registration data and your scanner data were never part of it.
What it does not do.
- Not included: There is no organiser dashboard. You cannot see which exhibitors signed up, or any exhibitor's scans, leads or meetings. Exhibitors do not share their leads with you through 1Namecard.
- Not included: There is no bulk sign-up, exhibitor directory or listing in your event app. Event pages are in development (see the roadmap) and are not available today.
- Not included: 1Namecard does not read badges and cannot replace lead retrieval in your registration system.
- Not included: Support for exhibitors comes from us. Starter has community help and the docs, Team has e-mail support. No plan includes a guaranteed response time.

What event organisers ask.
Can we see our exhibitors' leads?
No. Each exhibitor owns its organisation, its leads and its consent records. The organiser has no access and holds no copy.
Does it replace our badge scanner?
No. 1Namecard does not read badges. It captures the conversations a scanner misses and shows the exhibitor which placement brought them.
Is there a partner programme or a discount for our exhibitors?
Not today. If you plan to recommend 1Namecard, tell us through the contact form so we can look at your event.
Where is exhibitor data stored?
In the EU: the application servers, the database and the backups are in Frankfurt, Germany. Each organisation's data is kept apart from every other organisation's.
