In short

Role based access in 1Namecard has four roles: owner, admin, member and viewer. Owners and admins manage everything, members work their own cards and leads, and viewers read without changing anything or exporting. Seats are 3 on Starter, 25 on Team and 200 on Business, and every admin change is written to the activity log.

What it does.

  • Set one of four roles.

Owner can do everything, including organisation settings and the owner role. Admin can do everything except that. Member works on their own cards. Viewer reads. A role change applies at once.

  • Keep a rep's leads private.

A member sees only the leads, meetings and analytics of their own cards. They can change stage, assign, add notes and export those rows. A colleague's leads stay out of sight.

  • Let a viewer read everything and change nothing.

A viewer sees all leads, analytics, the funnel, the report and the activity log. There are no edit forms and no CSV export. It suits a manager or a client who wants to watch.

  • Always keep an owner.

Every organisation has at least one active owner. Only an owner can grant or remove the owner role, and nobody can change their own role.

  • Invite people by e-mail.

Send invitation takes an e-mail address and a role. The link is valid for 7 days and the person chooses their own password. Resend renews it and Revoke cancels it. Someone with an account elsewhere gets this organisation added.

  • Sign in with Google or Microsoft.

On every plan, people can sign in with Google or Microsoft Entra ID instead of a password. On Business an owner can switch on Require SSO for everyone, and owners keep their password as a way back in.

  • Give every rep a card, in bulk.

Assign cards to people under Users. Or use Import cards with a CSV of up to 500 rows: each row makes a member with a temporary password shown once, and an unpublished card they own.

  • Log every admin change.

Activity lists who changed what across cards, short links, events, users and settings. Passwords, photos, IP addresses and user agents are never written to it. Members see the history of their own cards only.

users on Business. Team has 25, Starter 3

How it works in three steps.

  1. Step 01

    Invite your team.

Open Users, enter an e-mail address, pick a role and press Send invitation. Start with member for reps.

  2. Step 02

    Assign cards.

Give each person a card, or import a CSV so the cards and the logins are made together.

  3. Step 03

    Read the team.

Open Funnel grouped by rep for the team view, and Activity to see who changed what.

Who it is for.

Limits by plan.

  • Included: Starter allows 3 users, Team 25 and Business 200. An invitation over the limit is refused.
  • Included: All four roles, invitations, the activity log and sign-in with Google or Microsoft are on every plan. Requiring single sign-on for everyone is on Business only.

What it does not do yet.

  • Not included: The four roles are fixed. You cannot build a custom role.
  • Not included: Single sign-on uses Google or Microsoft Entra ID (OpenID Connect). There is no SAML and no SCIM provisioning.
  • Not included: The activity log records changes, not who merely looked at a page.

The live board opens for every role, and members see their own cards on it.

A digital business card admin for teams.

Each rep has a card of their own with a photo, a number and a lead form. The card owner is the rep, so every lead, meeting and view already has an owner. That is what makes the per rep numbers work with no tagging.

Hand a card to someone else by assigning it under Users. Rename a card's address and the old one keeps working through a redirect. A deleted card can be restored.

Questions about this feature.

Can a rep see another rep's leads?

No. A member sees only the leads, meetings and analytics of their own cards. Owners, admins and viewers see the whole organisation.

What can a viewer do?

A viewer can read all leads, analytics, the funnel and the activity log. They cannot edit anything or export CSV files.

How long does an invitation last?

7 days. You can resend it for a fresh 7 days or revoke it. The person sets their own password.

How many people can I add?

Starter allows 3 users, Team 25 and Business 200. An invitation over the limit is refused.

Does the activity log record passwords or IP addresses?

No. It records what changed and who changed it, never passwords, photos, IP addresses or user agents.
