Sample organisations. One login, one membership and one role in each.
In short
With multiple organisations, one 1Namecard login holds a separate membership in each organisation, each with its own role. An agency can run digital business cards for clients this way: create an organisation per client, switch between them from the sidebar, and invite the client's people into their own. Nothing is shared between organisations. A login can create up to 5 itself.

What it does.
Hold a membership in each organisation.
One login can be owner in one organisation, admin in a second and viewer in a third. The role you hold in each decides what you can do there. See team and roles.
Switch from the sidebar.
On a desktop the organisation line in the sidebar opens a menu of every membership, with tile, name, role and address. On a phone the list is in the account menu. One tap switches.
See where you are, always.
The active organisation's tile (logo or initials), name and address, such as
yourclient.1namecard.com, stay in view on desktop and phone, so you do not edit the wrong client.Create another organisation.
Create another organisation asks for a name and an address, and checks the address as you type. The new organisation starts on Starter with you as owner and opens the setup wizard.
Choose from all organisations.
All organisations opens a picker with each organisation's cards and leads from the last 7 days, the one you used last first. A suspended organisation is listed but cannot be opened.
Invite clients into their own organisation.
Create the client's organisation, then invite their people as owners or admins. Your own people are invited to each organisation separately.
Keep every client apart.
Cards, leads, team, branding and plan belong to one organisation. "Act as" is for 1Namecard support staff only, and every change made that way is logged.

Invite the client, then switch back.
Invite the client's people under Users. Use the switcher or All organisations to move to the next client.

Who it is for.
Agencies
You run cards, links and lead capture for several clients.
Consultants and freelancers
You support a few companies and move between them.
Group companies
You have a brand per unit or country and some people span them.
Limits by plan.
- Included: A login can create up to 5 organisations itself, and the sign-up organisation counts as the first. We raise the limit on request.
- Included: Organisations you only joined do not count toward the 5.
- Included: A plan belongs to one organisation. Each starts on Starter (3 cards, 10 short links, 3 users). Team is EUR 88 per month for the organisation.
What it does not do yet.
- Not included: There is no combined view across organisations. The picker shows cards and 7 day leads, and you open each organisation to work in it.
- Not included: Moving a card or lead between organisations is not available.
- Not included: Billing is not self-serve yet. Plan changes go through us. See the roadmap.
Agency digital business cards for clients.
An agency signs up once and creates an organisation for each customer. Each gets its own address on 1namecard.com, logo, accent colour, consent wording and leads. The customer's people are invited as owners or admins, so the customer owns their data from day one.
The agency's staff stay members for as long as the client wants. When the work ends, an owner removes them.
Multiple organisations under one login.
| Item | In each organisation |
|---|---|
| Cards and short links | Their own, with the plan's limits |
| Leads, meetings and notes | Their own. Nobody sees another organisation's leads |
| Team and roles | Their own memberships and invitations |
| Branding and address | Their own logo, colours, consent wording and address |
| Integrations, API tokens, webhook | Their own |
| Plan | Their own |
Switching is not "Act as".
Switching moves you between organisations you belong to, with the role you hold there, and your changes are logged under your name. "Act as" is different: it lets 1Namecard staff open an organisation for support under a visible banner, and every change is marked as platform activity in the log.
Questions about this feature.
Can one login belong to several organisations?
Yes. One login has a membership in each organisation, each with its own role. You switch from the sidebar, or the account menu on a phone.
How many organisations can I create?
A login can create up to 5 itself, and the sign-up organisation counts as the first. Ask us to raise the limit if you need more.
Is anything shared between my organisations?
No. Cards, leads, team, branding and plan belong to one organisation, and each has its own API tokens and integrations.
Can a client see my other clients?
No. A client sees only the organisations they belong to. They never see another organisation's cards or leads, whoever else is in it.
What does a suspended organisation do?
It is listed as suspended in the picker and switcher but cannot be opened. Contact support to reopen it.
