Team and organisations

Use several organisations.

Who can do this: Anyone with a login can switch between the organisations they belong to and create a new one. Inviting people needs the owner or admin role in that organisation.

In short

You will be able to switch between your organisations, create another one and invite a client's people into their own organisation. Nothing is shared between organisations.

Steps checked 15 October 2026

Switch organisation.

Step 1.
On a computer, look at the top of the sidebar. The organisation line shows a tile with the logo or initials, the name and the address, for example acme.1namecard.com. Click it.
Step 2.
A menu titled Your organisations lists each one with your role there and a tick on the current one. Click another to switch. The admin reloads in that organisation, with the role you hold there.
Step 3.
On a phone, tap the organisation name or the round account button in the top bar. The sheet titled Account has a section called Organisations with the same list.
Step 4.
To see them side by side, choose All organisations. It appears once you belong to more than one. The page Choose organisation shows a card for each, with the number of cards and the leads from the last 7 days. The one you used last comes first and says Last used.

Create another organisation.

Step 1.
Open the switcher and choose Create another organisation. It is offered even if you belong to only one.
Step 2.
Type the Organisation name, up to 80 characters. The Address follows the name. Press Change to edit it. The page checks it as you type and says when yourname.1namecard.com is available.
Step 3.
Press Create organisation. It starts on the free Starter plan, you are its owner and it becomes the organisation you work in. The setup wizard opens.

One login can create 5 organisations. The one you made when you signed up counts as the first, and the page shows You have created 2 of 5, with your own number. Organisations you only joined do not count. At the limit you see Organisation limit reached, and Ask us to raise it opens our contact form. We raise the limit by hand.

Run clients as an agency.

Sign up once, create an organisation for each client, then follow Invite your team and set roles inside that organisation to invite the client's people, as owner or admin. They join their own organisation only and never see your other clients. Each organisation keeps its own cards, leads, team, branding and plan. Nothing is shared, so you invite your own colleagues into each organisation separately.

If an organisation shows Suspended, it cannot be opened. Contact support to reopen it.

Common questions.

Does one organisation see another's leads?

No. Each organisation keeps its own cards, leads, team, branding and plan. Being a member of two organisations never joins their data.

How do I get more than 5 organisations?

Use the link on the limit page or the contact form and ask us to raise it. The count covers organisations you created, not ones you joined or were made owner of by us.

Which plan does a new organisation start on?

Starter, which is free, with its own limits of 3 cards, 10 short links and 3 users. Every organisation has its own plan.
