Invite your team and set roles.

In short
You will have invited a colleague by e-mail with the right role, and given them their cards. You will know what each of the four roles can do.
Steps checked
Invite someone.
- Step 1.
Open Users in the sidebar. On a phone, tap More, then Users under Organisation.
- Step 2.
In the Invite someone panel, type the person's address in E-mail.
- Step 3.
Choose a Role. The options read Owner: everything, including the organisation, Admin: everything except the organisation, Member: edits own cards, sees own leads and Viewer: read-only, sees all leads and analytics. Member is pre-selected. Admins do not see the Owner option.
- Step 4.
Press Send invitation. You see a message such as Invitation to name@example.com created. They have been sent a link. It works for 7 days.
- Step 5.
Ask the person to follow the link and choose their own password. If they already have a 1Namecard account, the link adds your organisation to it and they keep their password.
- Step 6.
To give them cards, open Users, find them under People and press Edit. In the Cards panel tick their cards and press Save cards. A card that belongs to someone else says Currently owned by and the name. Ticking it moves it.

Resend, revoke and seats.
Invitations you have sent appear under Pending invitations with E-mail, Role, Invited by and Valid until. Press Resend to send a new link with a fresh 7 days. You can resend each invitation three times an hour. Press Revoke to stop a link at once. An expired invitation shows Expired and stays listed until you resend or revoke it.
A live invitation holds a seat, the same as a person. Settings shows the count under Users (including pending invitations). When the plan is full you see Your plan allows 3 users. Contact us to move to a bigger plan.
Common questions.
What if the invited person already has a 1Namecard account?
They follow the link and sign in with their own password. Your organisation is added to their login, next to any others, and nothing is shared between organisations.
Can I remove someone later?
Yes. Open the person with Edit and untick Active. Inactive users lose access to your organisation and are signed out. Their cards stay as they are.
Can I set a password for someone instead?
Yes. New user creates an account with a temporary password that is shown once. An invitation is simpler, because the person chooses their own password.
