Sign up and publish your first card.

Create your account.

   Open app.1namecard.com/signup.

   Step 2.

   Fill in Your name, Work e-mail, Password and Organisation name. The password needs at least 10 characters and cannot be your e-mail address.

   Check Your address. It becomes the first part of your card address, for example your-organisation.1namecard.com. The page tells you whether it is free. If it says "That address is taken. Choose another", type another.

   Press Create account. You are signed in and the setup wizard opens. An e-mail titled "Confirm your e-mail address for 1Namecard" is on its way: open its link when you have a minute.

Set up your card and look.

   Step 1.

   Enter your details: First name, Last name, Job title, E-mail and Mobile with the country code, for example +356 7900 0000. More details (optional) holds a One-line bio, Location, Telegram handle and LinkedIn. The preview of your card builds as you type.

   Step 2.

   Press the main button under the form. It saves your card as a draft and moves on.

   Step 3.

   Add a Photo if you have one. A square photo of your face works best. It is cropped to a circle on the card.

   Choose your look: an Accent colour and a Card colour, light or dark. The wizard checks that the colour is readable, at 4.5 to 1 contrast, and refuses one that is not. Add your Logo if you have it. SVG is best.

   Step 5.

   Skip the look if you are in a hurry. You can change all of it later under Settings, then Branding.

   Step 6.

   On the last screen press Publish my card. Your card goes live at an address such as your-organisation.1namecard.com/mfischer. The card address is your first initial plus your last name.

What you see when it is live.

The finish screen shows your card address and its QR code, with SVG and PNG downloads, Copy link and E-mail it to me. Open the link on your phone to see your card as a visitor does. Print the QR code on your badge or stand sign.

Until you press Publish my card, the card is a draft and its address shows not found. Anyone with the link can see it once it is live, and an admin can unpublish it from Cards.

Invite a teammate afterwards.

   Step 1.

   Confirm your own e-mail address first. Until you do, the app does not let you invite anyone.

   Open Users. Under Invite someone, type their E-mail, choose a Role and press Send invitation.

   Your teammate gets a link and sets their own password. Then create their card under Cards and choose them as Owner.
