Leads, meetings and events
Use the live board.
- Who can do this
- Everyone. Owners, admins and viewers see the whole organisation. Members see only their own cards.
- Where in the app
- Live (in the sidebar, or the Live tab on a phone)
In short
You will have the live board open on a screen at your stand. It shows today's views, saves, leads and meetings, and the latest events as they happen.
Steps checked
Open the board.
- Step 1.
Sign in to 1Namecard on the screen you will use. A viewer account is enough, because every role can open the board. A viewer uses one of your seats.
- Step 2.
Choose Live in the sidebar. On a phone, tap the Live tab in the bottom bar.
- Step 3.
Check the header. It shows your organisation name, the name of your current event (or No current event) and a status: Live, Reconnecting or Signed out. Under the status you see Updated and the time of the last refresh, in Barcelona time.
- Step 4.
Read the tiles. Card views today, Saves today, Leads today and Meetings today count from midnight Barcelona time. Views per minute draws the last 10 minutes and adds them up.
- Step 5.
Read Latest events underneath. Each row shows what happened, for example New lead, Meeting request, Saved contact, Tapped call or QR opened. It also shows the card, the placement (or
direct), the device, the country and how long ago. On a phone the rows are shorter: event, card and time. - Step 6.
Put the browser in full screen with its own full-screen key and leave the page open. The layout fits 1920 by 1080 and 1280 by 720 screens without scrolling.
- Step 7.
Press Back to admin when you want to leave the board.
What the numbers mean.
- Card views today counts visits to your cards. Bots and staff visits are left out.
- Saves today counts visitors who saved your contact to their phone.
- Leads today counts forms sent from a card. Meetings today counts meeting requests.
- Members see only the cards they own. Owners, admins and viewers see every card in the organisation.
The board never shows an IP address or a visitor's name. A lead or meeting row names the card only. It refreshes by itself every 10 seconds, pauses while the browser tab is hidden and refreshes once when you come back.
If the board stalls.
Reconnecting means the last refresh failed. The board tries again every 10 seconds. Signed out means the session has ended: press Sign in again. No visits yet. means nothing was counted in the last 7 days. Waiting for data shows until the first refresh succeeds.
Common questions.
Can visitors see the board?
Yes, it is safe to face a screen outwards. It shows counts and card names only, with no IP address and no visitor names. Sign the screen in with a viewer account so nobody can change anything from it.
Why do the counters differ from Analytics?
The board counts the current day in Barcelona time and always leaves out bots and staff visits. Analytics lets you pick a period and include staff visits, so the two can differ.
Does the board work on a phone?
Yes. On a phone it is an ordinary scrolling page with two tiles per row and a short row per event.
